Day 1: The wild beauty day! Tivat airport – Kotor – Cetinje – Podgorica.
This morning after breakfast you will be transferred to Kotor. It is a delightful place where the past coexists with the present. You will visit the old town inside the castle. After that, you will be transferred to Cetinje through the serpent road with 27 curves. A unique experience! You will also visit the Royal city with the King Nikola Museum and lastly you will get transferred to Podgorica for dinner and overnight at your hotel.
Day 2: Spiritual day, deep into nature. Podgorica – White Drin source – Pristina.
This morning after breakfast you will do a panoramic tour in Podgorica with the coach and be transferred to Kosovo through Rozhaje. The lunch stop will be a fantastic experience near the source of the White Drin. You will visit the Waterfall which is located right next to the sleeping beauty cave (Shpella e Radacit). After that, you will get transferred to Decani Monastery, one of Kosovo’s absolute highlights. This ancient monastery is in an incredibly beautiful spot beneath the mountains and surrounded by a forest of pine and chestnut trees. There are 25 monks living there, in total isolation from the local community. After the visit, you will be transferred to Pristina for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Visit the capital of Kosovo – Pristina all day.
This morning after breakfast you will start the sightseeing of the capital. Pristina is a fast-changing city that feels full of optimism and potential, even if its traffic-clogged streets and mismatched architectural styles don’t make it an obviously attractive place. You will visit the main boulevard and finishing at Skenderbeg square. You will also visit the Gracanica Monastery and then lunchtime. After that, you will get transferred back to Tirana for the visit of Ethnographic Museum Emil Gjiku and you will have free time in the afternoon on your own leisure. Lastly, you will have dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 4: Pristina – Skopje – Ohrid.
This morning after breakfast, you will be transferred to Skopje (capital of Macedonia). You will start the visit from the castle and Carshija at the old bazaar. Macedonian capital has become a thoroughly entertaining Balkan metropolis. On this day you will also visit Mother Theresa memorial house. After that, lunch time in a traditional restaurant in Skopje and later on you will get transferred to Ohrid for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Visit the Jerusalem of Balkans, Ohrid all day.
This morning, after meeting your guide in the lobby of your hotel you will start the sightseeing of Ohrid that is the jewel of Macedonia and the pearl of Lake Ohrid. Ohrid, the so called Jerusalem of the Balkans. The visit today starts to the old quarter of Ohrid. The traditional houses, build close to each other, have created some cobbled narrow streets like a labyrinth. They will lead you to the churches of Ohrid where the most important and the most special one is St. Sophia Church, coming from the 9th-10th century from the Bulgarian Empire. The labyrinth of the old town will also lead you to the Samoil’s Fortress (for a panoramic photo shooting) built during the first Bulgarian Empire when Ohrid was capital, by Tsar Samoil and than small boat trips from Saint Kaneo to Ohrid city center. You will have free time for lunch during the afternoon transfer to St. Naum Monastery for some relaxing moments by the lakeshore and for visiting the small church inside. After visiting St. Naum Monastery you will get transferred back to Ohrid for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Colors of Tirana and taste of Albania (Ohrid – Elbasan – Tirana).
This morning after breakfast you will be transferred to the capital of Albania, Tirana, with a short stop on the way to Elbasan. You will visit Elbasan city center and the old town with a spectacular lunch in the castle. Then you will be transferred back to Tirana for the visit of Tirana which starts with the Scanderbeg Square, a monument dedicated to the National Hero of Albania. From the center, you will be able to see the main boulevard, main administrative buildings, National Bank of Albania and the Et’hem Bey mosque that is one of the most beautiful mosques in Albania which is located near the Bunkart 2, our next visit. After lunch you will visit Bunkart 2 that is dedicated to the history of the Albanian communist army and to the daily lives of Albanians during the regime. You will have free time in the afternoon at your own leisure. You will have dinner and overnight in Tirana.
Day 7: Greatest lake of the Balkans (Skadar lake ) Tirana- Kruja – Shkoder – Budva.
This morning after breakfast, you will be transferred to Kruja for sightseeing of the old town and the bazaar. You will have a traditional lunch in Kruja and then you will get transferred to north city of Shkoder. Shkodra, the traditional center of the Gheg cultural region, is one of the oldest cities in Europe. After visiting Shkodra you will get transferred to Budva where you will have free time for lunch and walking in the old part. You will have dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 8: Onward flight.
This morning after breakfast you will have free time on your own leisure depending on your departure flight. TBA
You will get transferred to Tivat airport.
