Tirana excursion from Vlora port.
After meeting with the guide outside your ship, you will be transferred for an approximately 75 minutes drive towards the Capital of the Republic of Albania, Tirana. Today, Tirana is the main administrative, economical, art and culture center, with a population of just over 700.000 inhabitants. The tour starts with a visit to the Scanderbeg Square, a monument dedicated to the National Hero of Albania.
Later on, you will be able to wander through the city center and have some free time to take pictures. Coming up next, you will visit the National Historical Museum. It is the largest museum in Albania and holds many of the country’s archaeological treasures. This collection will take you chronologically from ancient Illyria to the post-communist era. Afterward, you will continue walking to the “Block area”, which became popular after the communist era. It thrives with nice bars, clubs, and restaurants where you can also enjoy lunch during your free time. Finally, you will be transferred to Shengjin port to continue your journey.

Itinerary
After meeting with your guide at 8:00 AM, you will be transferred to Tirana. The visit of Tirana starts with Scanderbeg Square. From the center, you will be able to see the main boulevard, main administrative buildings, National Bank of Albania and the Et’hem Bey mosque. After some minutes of free time to take pictures of the city center, you will be able to visit the National Historical Museum and the National Art Gallery nearby. Next, you will continue walking to the “Block area”, where you will have free time at your leisure and lunch. Lastly, you will be transferred back to Shengjin port and to your ship.
