-The Monastery of Saint Naum is named after Saint Naum, a 9th-century medieval Bulgarian saint, disciple of Saints Cyril and Methodius, and a key figure in the Christianization of the Slavic peoples. At Saint Naum we will see a historic monastery by Lake Ohrid, with an ancient church showcasing well-preserved paintings, all set in a peaceful natural environment.
